ALOT is one café with two experiences. You come in for a coffee or a meal, and the room around you is the shop.
Open every day, 11 AM to 11 PM
Every chair, table, plant, light and cup here was made by a local artisan, and everything you see is for sale. Guests eat and drink while they browse, and the chair they spent the afternoon in can go home with them.
The ideaDining and shopping in one room
Coffee comes from the brew bar, and food from our own kitchen and a few kitchens we trust in the city. Everything else in the room is on show to be used: you sit at the tables, read under the lamps and drink from the cups.
If a piece earns a place in your home, it can leave with you. Whatever goes home makes room for the next maker's work.

ALOT comes from the team behind GVQ Time Café, Kerala's first time-based café. The experience of building that room, and the community that grew around it, now goes into this one.

The makersEvery piece has a maker
Nothing in the room is made in-house. Each piece comes from a local artisan, and ALOT exists to show their craft where people can meet it in person: sit in it, eat at it, turn it over in their hands.
From furniture to lighting, if it is beautifully made, it belongs here. Bespoke, artisanal and small-batch work is especially welcome.

The roomA room that changes with the seasons
The décor rotates every quarter. New makers arrive, pieces find their homes, and the room is set again around what has come in, so a regular never sits in quite the same café twice.

Every piece carries a small QR code. Point your phone camera at it to see what it is, what it costs and who made it, along with the maker's own story.
Nobody needs to walk you through it. Add what you like to your bag and settle it at the counter before you leave.
