ALOT is a cafe with a shop layer running through it. Every object you can see, sit on, or drink from is part of a rotating curation, and almost all of it is for sale.
Open every day, 11 AM to 11 PM
Scan the QR tag on any piece to meet its maker, read how it was made, and take it home the same day or have it delivered.
The collection changes as our artisans rotate through, so the room is never quite the same twice.
How the tag works
Every piece for sale carries a small QR tag. Spot it, scan it with your phone camera, no app to install.
The scan takes you straight to that piece: who made it, how, and what it costs. Buy it there and carry it out, or have it delivered.
What is in the room right now
Furniture, lighting, ceramics, textiles, and smaller objects for the home, all made by hand by artisans from around Kerala.
The collection rotates as our artisans change, so what is on the floor today will not all be there next season. If a piece catches your eye, that is the moment to act on it.
Taking it home
Where stock allows, you carry it out with you the same day. Otherwise it ships direct from the maker who made it.
The unit you see and sit on in the room is a display unit. Yours comes fresh from its maker.
Questions
Is everything in the room really for sale?
Almost all of it. A tagged piece with a visible QR code is for sale; scan it to confirm price and availability.
Can I buy the chair I am sitting in, or the cup I am drinking from?
If it carries a tag, yes. Scan it and it will tell you.
What happens if a piece is the last one?
The listing will say so. You can still order it made to order or delivered from the maker's next batch, depending on the piece.
Do you ship outside Kochi?
Delivery is arranged per piece with the maker at checkout. Ask at the tag's listing page for that item's shipping options.
